FAQ


When will my item ship?

All items are made to order, and processing time for most items is 5-7 business days from when you place an order. Some earrings do have a longer processing time and it’s noted in the shipping time on the listing.

What is processing time?

The processing time is how long it takes me to make your order, and does not include shipping time. I cannot guarantee items will arrive by a certain date. All I can provide is my processing time. The current processing time will be listed in the shipping info on each listing, and may differ from what is listed in the description of the item. You can purchase priority shipping, which doesn't change processing times but will save a few days on shipping.

What sizes are offered?

Most earrings come in multiple sizes, and it will be listed in the drop down menu. The general sizes are:

1 1/4 inches
1 1/2 inches
2 inches
2 1/2 inches
3 inches

What kind of ear wire is used?

My standard hooks are nickel free with a ball and spring. What kind of leather is used?

Each pair of earrings uses a different leather, which means each has a different thickness and firmness. Please read the description on each listing on the leather used in that particular pair. The listing will provide information on whether the leather is thin, medium, or thick leather, as well as soft (more bend to the leather), medium firm (some stiffness but some bendability too) or firm (less bend, more stiff) leather. Thinner leather and faux leather can sometimes curve or lose shape, so please be aware of that when purchasing. You can get them flat again by stacking a heavy book on them or with real leather, run a barely warm iron over them, with a shirt or other barrier between the leather and iron. I try my best to describe the leather used, but if you have a question about the type of leather, please contact me before purchasing.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

I do not accept returns or exchanges at this time, unless item is damaged or a mistake of the seller. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact me within 72 hours of receipt.

Shipping Transit Times:

I CANNOT guarantee a package will make it to you by a certain date. Please check the processing time on the item before ordering, most are shipped out within 5-7 business days (not including the weekend) of ordering, and then will be shipped by USPS. USPS may provide an estimated arrival date, but that is just an estimate and I cannot control the actual arrival date, that is up to USPS.  Once an order is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information from Etsy. Tracking can take a few days to show up after the email is received.

First class mail can take 7-10 business days, although it often arrives before this time frame you should allow at least this amount of shipping time (this does NOT include the order processing time, which is usually 3-5 business days, and is on each listing). If you have not received your package after 14 days, please contact me and let me know it hasn’t arrived. Your local USPS can also determine the packages location using GPS, so you can contact them as well. If it hasn’t arrived within the 14 days, you can file a claim with USPS and we can find a solution to the non-delivery. So please contact me if it hasn’t been delivered after those 14 days.

The estimated arrival for your package that the post office furnishes, is just an estimate, not a guarantee.

Priority shipping is available, and is usually a 2-3 day shipping timeline. This DOES NOT include my production time.
